Yes, if you eat all the zyme, gas yourself and get poisoned by a greasel all in a radioactive area, you get a bow upgrade one out of 20 times.

I got bored and sat down to try and figure out the zyme sniping. and it really works, you just have to wait for it to be zoomed in all the way and doing really small concentric circles.
Also if you jump 100 times in every building in Paris then take all 17 zyme vials, it gives you the 'pistol upgrade' it gives your pistol 100% accuracy and makes it shoot rockets. Yup. Just try it.

There are 21 that I've found before getting to the drug deal in Paris, and one more after that in Chateau DuClare. 20 is the max you can carry though. Renault will buy them all off of you for 65*20=1300 credits. Here's the list:
