I'd love to see some of the Underworld levels in the Unreal engine, but I don't have UT, just the original Unreal.
Zerker used to have a couple UW levels for Unreal, but they're currently 404 on his website.
Anyone still have copies of those two levels (I think it was the 1st level of UW1 and the Pits of Carnage from UW2) they could hook me up somehow?

I have them. Send me an email if you want them sent to you still. There pretty large, though. The average is 2.5 megs a piece. Let me know.

Hey straight, did you get them? I didn't get a Delivery Notification: Delivery has failed return message so I'm guessing it worked.
When I posted the above, I thought all the maps were for Unreal. Turns out the bigger ones were for UT. I think I have some more on another CD somewhere. Let me know if you want them. I'll have to look them up to tell which are which.
I downloaded the demo of UT and the versions for it work. I suck at them all, but it's still fun.

I did indeed, Brad! Thank you. And thanks to Zerker if he's reading this! Zipping around the first level of UW really took me back. The first cache of supplies! The first rat! The goblins. Boy that was a great game. Having some of the Unreal monsters standing in for the original Underworld inhabitants helped alot too.
It was a lot harder to find my way around without the automap. I ended up using the "GHOST" cheat to fly up and out of the maze and look down when I got lost (and to see the anhk-shaped room where the first three shrines are).
Well back to Thief! (And, don't laugh, Ultima 9 - I'm actually really enjoying that game!)

As far as Ultima 9 is concerned, a lot of us really enjoyed it, but were dissapointed as well. Go here, to have a look at what some of us thought about it.
