Oh I respect the idea all right; I just don't respect your pat attempt to fit it to this situation based solely on an indirectly-quoted 9-word reference from a news article, something that gave you about as much psychological insight to call them fraudsters as your posts did for me to call you one.
Where exactly is your knowledgeable analysis here? The thrust of your argument is that Google accusing 3rd-party advertising consultants of inflating their results is a pretty sure sign they're on the make themselves, when for all you know Google have quite an accurate and undoctored picture of click-fraud that doesn't tally with that being presented by those consultants; something which would give them plenty of ground to take a few jabs at their detractors.
I'm not saying Google aren't pulling a fast one; all I'm saying is that you made a lazy offhand observation and then tried to back it up with whatever armchair psychology you thought would stick when people called you on it. On top of which, acting as though you're demonstrating some insights into human nature that the rest of us hadn't figured out by age 15. Nigga please.

I'm also honest enough with myself to answer your question directly and tell you I know I'm not a cheat.

When Google buys the Internet will all web surfing be called "Googling?"

Man I've been accused of making a lazy one so many times and then vigourously defending it. It's in my interest to be right, why would it be a lazy half assed attempt? See I take importance in how accurate my judgements turn out to be. Google has the IMAGE of properly taking care of click-fraud, and frankly I'd be afraid. If your company had the image of having the best products and people bought them based on that, would you invest in quality control or product improvement? You wouldn't need to, in fact investing in these two areas would not net you any increase in sales or brand image etc. Only for possibly keeping that image alive in the future would you invest.
And if it's so easy by age 15, how come to one came to point anything, I'm not trying to impress anyone with the armchair psychology, I actually think it can be very powerful.
