I thought I'd pointed to Bedbananas' Star Citizen vids before, but apparently not!
No matter what I may think of the game, its development and Chris Roberts, it has still provided me with a huge amount of amusement thanks to the antics of Bedbananas and his buddies:
They just crossed the $400M mark this week too.
What they're going to do with a $400 letter M is anybody's guess.

Have you guys heard about this video game called Deus Ex? Sounds pretty good, here's a review.

Ya know, someone here really should start up the "official" TTLG Gen Gaming channel. Featuring games that are inspired by this site and talked about by the core people who contribute to this forum, with vids by the many users who post here. I think that would be really cool.
And by someone, I of course mean, YOU there, in the post above. Yes, you.

Hbomberguy just released a 3 hour video about Deus Ex Human Revolution! For some reason!

The first 25 minutes of it are very good, it goes into how the design and design process differed between DX and DXHR. Well researched and well delivered. Haven't watched the rest yet. But I will!

I'm 2 hours in and it's pretty good.
I love hbomberguy - amazing how much time spent grinding this axe at what seems like a totally random juncture.

I'm like 90 seconds in and annoyed that the brief history of Deus Ex neglects to mention Invisible War's existence, lol. It's well over 3 hours, I'm sure you he could've squeezed that in.
EDIT: 4:30 he defines an immersive sim as a game where you can stack crates. ...Is this guy one of our members?
EDIT 2: His description 7:30ish about how Deus Ex starts is kinda bullocks. There's a whole training level (you don't have to do it, but it's there, and if you haven't played before, you really ought to); it's not small, and the stealth section is notoriously difficult for newbies. Making a character can be decidedly time consuming - especially if you haven't done it before. The cut scenes are shorter.

I've thought for a while now about starting up a YT channel that focuses on stealth. Maybe not necessarily just playing through stealth games in their entirety, but more about focusing on individual game missions/levels that focus on stealth and non-conflict/violence. I would probably pick out some of the best of the best levels from stealth franchises like Thief, Hitman, Metal Gear Solid, Splinter Cell, etc, but then also pick stealthy levels from games aren't primarily known for that, like Oblivion/Skyrim, Last of Us, Half Life, GTA, or even Metro (which I recently played thru).
Seems like there aren't a lot of stealth channels out there, so I thought it might be worth a go. What do you guys think? Part of me says most newer gamers would just find this shit boring, ha.

I'd think the opposite. You'd be pretty good to exactly fill that niche of stealth gaming from a classic era perspective. You're a good person to do too because of the Southquarter connection, at least for people that know what that is. ;)

An interesting idea! Tho it'll need to be more than just plain playthroughs of missions. If I wanna look up a playthrough of a mission from a game there's plenty of those already on YT. Top 10 lists of things like "best stealth levels in non-stealth games" are certainly intriguing tho. And how about "Top 10 Thief FMs of 2021"? As a casual Thief FM player that'd appeal to me very much. Narration and a slick presentation are big plusses of course.
