I am not creeped out by on-screen spiders. Just the ugly little bastards that hang out on my car/in my house. I think they come from a tree nearby, our house always gets covered.

Totally LOVING this texture-based wigginess encounter group! Styrofoam / polystyrene isn't a big one for me, but there are certain formulations of that sort of packing material that does get to me... Usually the smoother, grittier stuff. But chalk... brrr... ESPECIALLY the ghetto chalk that parents buy for their kids.
A fresh stick of butter-yellow ghetto chalk squealing and grinding on a slightly-too-smooth bit of paper. Christ, even typing that made me have to shake my hands frantically to try to make my fingers come off. :eww:
But I really like Elvis' "Makes me cringe, and want to fight" -- that's the best way to describe what some of the more fibrous, gritty, molecular-level-squeeeeeeal textures (or even just memories of them) do to me. And yeah, sometimes it's the rougher, industrial cardboard.

Sponge. God, I hate the feeling of bath sponge. Also gooey vegetables after having to clean out a test tube of potato that had undergone some hyper / hypo osmotic chemistry test.

When I get a cup/glass to drink from, I always look in it really well, and smell it too. Had a couple bad cups from the old dishwasher days have gunk in them, and totally made me barf. Won't ever have that happen to me again.
This. Except including silverware, too. Infact, just about any eating/drinking surface I use has to be at least visibly clean or else I have to politely decline. But I don't think that falls under the umbrella of being crazy.. What sane person WOULD go out of their way to use utensils and dishes with other peoples food gunk already on them?

I do everything in threes. Like if I rinse something, I do it three times. Everything. And I constantly count in my head what I call 'my pyramids' count to 3, then 2, then 1 imagining it stacked 3 wide at the bottom, then 2, then 1. It is a '9' thing which is 3 to the 3rd power. The 'perfect 3'.
