(GbM can't bitch about top-three threads)
Inline Image:
http://www.planetsmilies.com/smilies/tongue/tongue0020.gifEveryone has little quirks that signify just how utterly insane we all really are. These are my top three:
- I won't eat any seedless fruit. Watermelons (especially after giving 'em a really good fucking), oranges, lemons, grapes, they all have to have seed in them or else I won't touch them.
- I can't stand anything that has an "oily" feel to it. Doorknobs, remote controls, keyboards, and light switches are just a few items I'll suddenly clean because THEY'RE DIRTY, DAMMIT!
- Nothing unfamiliar can be in my direct line of sight, or peripheral vision for that matter, while watching T.V. If it's not an item that's "supposed" to be there, I have to move it completely from the room (can't just set it aside) or else I'm uncomfortable.
Anyone else?

I just need to imagine something flying towards my head and I find it very difficult to keep myself from jerking my head to the side to avoid the impact. Even though I know I'm just imagining it, but the reflex is extremely strong.
That's the only one I've got, I'm afraid. Ask my GF, though, and you might get tons of info about my daily insanities... :p

Extreme photic sneezing after I emerge from any dark area. Can take up to a minute for it to subside, and just a few seconds in another dark area will start it all over again.

I won't share or sip another person's drink. They offer to let me try their special beer and no I'm fine. Don't pour it into another glass unless you haven't tried it at all. I'm told this is odd but I find it quite normal.
I line things up. On my desk, at work, even when I'm watching TV. If my phone, TV remote, PS3 controller and drink aren't lined up (and I mean with no visual overlap and equidistant spaces) I can't watch. I guess this is similar to Queue's thing as I also can't have this stuff in my peripheries. At work I HAVE to have all my kit lined up and in dishes. And my machine only has MY stuff that I put on it IN THE WAY I PUT IT.
Loud noises make me blink. I cannot stop this. I see other people are fine but the reflex cannot be mastered.

Same here. That extends to food. If you touched it with your fork, knife or anything, I won't touch it. I don't share. You have your plate I have mine.
I hate when people pick in other's plates without even asking. It can just ruin the dish for me and I won't touch it again, even if I love it. Think Hughes in
The Aviator. Yeah, that.

Rapists make me angry, I still can't stop myself from picking scabs, I'm a compulsive shaver/bather and alcohol always seems like the best way to make a bad situation better.
And I also turn off the lights whenever I leave a room, which seems to set me apart from most people.

The only people I allow that with are my immediately family, as in mum and dad. No-one else.

I never step on, or ride my bike over manhole covers or storm drains if it can be avoided.
I eat pizza spiraling inwards, eating up all of the crust before working my way towards the centre.
I always fold used paper bags up neatly before throwing them away.
