I like Browder as an actor, but I'm not sure he's right for Garrett. I'd probably lean more towards Sam Witwer, who IMO is a very underrated actor. I thought he was fantastic in the US version of "Being Human". Had this movie happened 15 or 10 years ago, I'd say Nicholas Cage would make a good Garrett... IF he could play it straight and not crazy. In fact, I'm pretty sure LGS based the original cover art on Cage:
