Vote for your favourite Thief 2 fanmission of the year 2001! :)
"Others" includes the following missions: Alchemic Allusions, Collector's Greed, Curse of the Carnival, Lord Lomat's Flute, Sir Lector comes to Dine, The airship, The Builder's Hammer
General rules for the T2 polls: Demos, very short missions, foreign languages and OM remakes are only included if the space allows it. Same goes for missions that already appeared in one of the T1/TG polls. Big missions with 5 or more missions to play are excluded. There will be a separate poll for them.
Important note: Since there is quite a number of T2 fanmissions released in the year 2001, I cut the poll in 2. The second poll will be released when this one is closed.

While 7th Crystal is likely to dominate here, my personal favourites of this list would be A Smuggler's Request and Art of Thievery.
The flow and narrative of the former plays out much better than 7th Crystal to me, which is marred by its massive anticlimax. A Smuggler's Request very polished for 2001.
Art of Thievery is rough in a lot of ways, but it has such a focus on fun gameplay and I have some vivid fond memories of hiding in the shadows on a rope arrow in the northernmost part of the map. Moments that stick with you from FMs, of any quality, always get extra points.

I also like Smuggler's Request - it is very fun, locations are quite different (city, prison, even ship) and the plot is really interesting till the very end. It's not perfect, it's uneven and sometimes simply rough and wild, but somehow I like this kind of wild. It's also challenging in a good way. Didn't like Art of Thievery as much - a bit too broad and gigantic in my opinion. Perhaps, SR is my most favorite from the bunch.
The Hightowne Museum is also good - it's small (was made for one of earlier contests), but compact, accurate, atmospheric and short. It's not the most complicated, but I like how gameplay flows here.
7th Crystal is the third one I would pick up. It is very well designed, also atmospheric, the most influental and I also think it will top everything here, but... I was not impressed - especially by the 2nd mission which felt like interjection, not full-fledged finale. I guess later missions of the same subgenre somehow dwarfed it. Also I played it a bit late. But still, good work.

Again so many good ones to choose from.
Smuggler's Request is so good, as is The Art of Thievery even though it's almost painfully difficult on expert as yo have to ghost it, The Search for Crom's Blade is such good fun, as is Bloodsport, Shore Leave + Up Sh*t Creek is by Belboz so always gets my vote, The Karrassinian Threat I found confusing as hell (you can mantle out of the map in many places with Newdark), and then of course there is The Seventh Crystal.
Wow what a choice!

I voted for 7th Crystal. It was the first mission I played where I thought it exceeded the original missions. I think I played this just before Calendra's Cistern.

I fired this one up to see the objectives, but you don't have to ghost it. No knockout or getting spotted objectives are all optional.

I've played only a fraction of these FMs. I voted for Crom's Blade because it's just one of the most memorable FMs I've played and for me it was hard to believe it's was released such a long time ago. Very original setting and cool ambient music.

I played through most of them a 2. time for this poll and I can say the 3 missions that really stood out for me are:
1. The art of thievery: For me this mission is as cool as the name, a thieving experience just the way I love it!
2. Croms blade: Another cool mission and very close to the art of thievery. I just love how many ways you can go and how much stuff you can find in this including those 9 diamonds :D
3. The 7th crystal: I remember this mission so well when I played it for the first time I was so sad to read that there was no continuation for it. The story got me so hooked and it was so well done. Again, thieving experience exactly the way I love it!
