I suppose....but, I figured they were a classification of their own, a GUILD QUEST. While anything else with no follow up quest or story is a side quest, because, it's more or less on the sidelines, as it will have little to no bearing on how people react to you, or your fame. (For the most part) While acting as an assassin will make you infamous, or working for the fighters guild more famous, so generally, I still stand by the idea that guild quests, are NOT side quests.

Why I thought my fame increased as well when getting those slaughterfish for the guy at Weye. Such a boring assignment! And I hate the stink of raw fish :sly:

Your fame actually increased from that? Hmm, cool.

No I'm mot saying it did - I didn't pay attention then and I don't remember now. All I'm saying is, it would be kind of natural if it did for you're not only doing bad quests throughout the game, but also such of helping NPC, so it should have affected your fame level... It seems to me it grew a little after ending the quest where you rescued the guy from the painting but I'm not sure...:erg:

My favorite quest is either summitmist manor or the quest where you kill Valen Dreth. I like the Valen quest because it takes you back to the beginning of the game and I get all nolstalgic.
