Can you check the name for that quest? I'm on sort of a vacation at DB right now so I thought I could "rest" some:)
Or....is it a DB quest? (It is, isn't it? :p )

'Through A Nightmare, Darkly'. It's not a DB quest.

Sounds like one though :)
Thanks

Another interesting one I came across is 'Goblin trouble' where there's a war going on between two tribes and it's keeping new settlers from being able to build their new farm. It seems there's multiple ways to solve this; allthough i'm still figuring out to get this done without just killing all the goblins :)

Try swiping a goblin banner then placing it in another tribe's lair ;)

I like pretty much all sneaky quests, like where you needed to replace medicine with a poison or where you had to sneak through in a shrine to get some artifact. That really makes me feel like playing Thief again :)

I don't like quests that you have to fight in dungeons that include NPC's. Well, unless you can tell them to wait. They charge in head first agroing the entire dungeon. I prefer to sneak attack everything to death.

That quest is slightly broken, there are actually only two ways to complete it. One you've already thought of, the other also involves killing. The third method mentioned in the briefing for the quest doesn't work. Bethesda disabled the Goblin totem-searching AI in the shipped game, though there are modders trying to get it to work again.
And yes, Through A Nightmare, Darkly was a brilliantly original quest.

I was very curious about that. I'm glad to know my game isn't broken. But why did they disable the golbin totem-searching? It seems a very nifty feature.

Oddly enough, the totem searching seems to only be partially disabled. I've done that quest several times, and during one run the goblins completed the quest for me! While I was lurking in the shadows in the cave of the tribe that stole the totem, I watched the other goblin chief barge in and recover it without any help at all from me. I got the "quest completed" message and everything. And no, I don't have any goblin-related mods installed.
