I wanted to start a thread where people could talk about what they thought were the best and worst aspects of the game. So post your best worst opinions here.
I think that Morrowind is one of my favorites just cause of the huge amount of time it can keep me occupied without me even starting to get bored. There is always something else to do- You can always explore a new dungeon, complete a guild quest, try out a new enchantment, try to max your stats, try to kill everyone in the game (except for only-he-stands-there so that he will actually be the only one standing there), or start a new game with a totally different character (like a naked High Elf born under the sign of the Apprentice and has Strength and Endurance as his Main Attributes)
BUT, also I would have to say this: I have been an avid gamer since Atari’s Mario game with the POW blocks, owned a NES, Genesis, SNES, GB, Sega CD, PS1, PS2, Dreamcast, X-Box, GameCube, GBA, and PC and have played my fair share of games but never in my life have I played a game that crashed so [censored] much. Sure a game has OCCASIONALLY frozen after being on for 8+ hours but that is a hardware issue and has nothing to do with software (i.e. the sub-par engine, untidy level design, etc.) Also for the PC I can understand, because patches are released that fixed most of the numerous bugs, but the X-Box hasn’t seen any updates and I’m guessing wont see any updates EVER. I think that Mr. Gates should be pretty steamed about this issue of such an important title crashing OFTEN, and on MANY DIFFERENT PEOPLE'S X-Boxes.
Well I sent e-mails to Bethesda and Microsoft about Morrowind Hailing their Creation and Screaming Profanities about those before mentioned decisions/sloppiness, And that over all Morrowind, like cheating on your wife, is the BEST and WORST game that I have ever played.

This is from an X-box user's perspective.
Morrowind's strengths: Open ended questing, solid storylines throughout, rewarding and challenging character growth (early game), ability to become evil or good depending on actions.
Morrowind's weaknesses:
THIN ending
poor combat system, VERY buggy and prone to crashing, some quests and factions are very shallow, no real rewards for anything other than a powerful character, some storyline possibilities not realized:
Perhaps turning to Daggoth Ur's side, increased complexity of vampire quests, and addition of quests based on the Dwemer's origins (excluding Trebonious's rantings).
Despite the slightly longer list of weaknesses, the game is still worth playing.

maybe you guys could list some of the unfinished aspects of the game, like the Armorer Master not having the Training option in his dialog, and the medium armor master being non-existant on the boat at Tel Fyr.
Its still a kickass game, all i can say is save often. nothings worse that completing 5 or 6 quests and then getting a "Disk may be dirty or damaged" message and having to start all over.
i would have gladly waited a year for a fully patched morrowind on xbox. Hell, id even shell out another 50 bucks for morrowind version 2.0 with a big ol BUG FREE sticker on the front. damnit they could make millions!

I really like the Enchanting and Alchemy aspects of the game. Being able to make your own Weapons, Armor, and Potions is really cool and I think that they did a really good job with the system in which you do it.
Although i wish that they took all of the options in to account -like i created an Amulet that i called "Prison of lonely Khajiit" that was a constant effect Lock 11 pts in 50 feet on self hoping that it would lock all of the doors within 50 feet of you and keep them locked permenently :weird: ! But of course it didn't work.:( ( Also I made "Beer Goggles" which are a constant effect Blind 45% and those worked quite well.:D )
Also I wish that there was an online option too. Even if it was just a small town that everyone could go and talk or trade stuff.

someone could make some sort of program to extract files for each item in your inventory and trade them with friends, and then import them to your game. but on the pc the cheats make it too easy to get whatever you want anyway, so it is pointless. It would be a great thing for the xbox version.....but everyone knows that any kind of update of somekind for xbox will never happen

MW is very much like British sports cars of the 50's, 60's & 70's - sexy as hell to look at, a great ride but lousy transportation - or AMF Harleys - drive/stop/tinker/tinker, drive/stop/tinker/tinker.
All 3 suck but we wouldn't trade 'em for anything else & are damn glad to have 'em.

BEST : a total immersion in the world, many path to explore, many details in the story and the system, the alchemy/magic/skill/level systems and so many things !!!!
WORST : incredebly too much easy when you're a mage and you use alchemy ( and enchantment also a bit ) ( having 210000 Int, 11000 Str , 15000 Luck , regaining 500+ HP per second during hours , levitating for an hour at 1000+ magnitude for one hour ( just for 20 GP !!! ) , selling the few unsold potions for....30000 GP ;) Argllll, alchemy is sure turning Ash Yam, not Pb, into gold ;) )

My biggest beef with the game is of course the ending. But I would REALLY like to see an online option where you could face other PC's in the Arena...now THAT would be great.:thumb:
