Calling War, Inc 'flawed' is incredibly generous, since it's actually pretty terrible, but Cusack is solid in it (and Hillary Duff is surprisingly decent). He's essentially playing his character from Grosse Point Blank (which was essentially every Cusack character ever + ultra violence, but whatever).
And I don't care how bad an earthquake it is, there are no aerial routes from Santa Monica to Downtown that could take you beneath a freeway overpass like that. And seriously, you think California is going to fall into the ocean and you get a plane at the Santa Monica airport? As in the second closest major airport to the ocean? Should've gone to Burbank.

The last thing I really loved him in was John Malko and prior to that Grosse Point Blank. He used to be everyone's best friend but now he seems to be... I don't know what.
I thought 1408 was ok, but was unfortunate enough to have the alt ending version where he dies. The UK seems to get these ass alt endings, like the "dead in the womb" one in Butterfly Effect.
Identity was enjoyable up until the awful, awful twist. God that twist was dreadful.

John Cusack in GPB is probably one of my favourite performances ever. Like, literally nailed it to the fucking pitch perfect.

Yeah I also liked 1408, it's going to be on TV in Holland next friday, probably going to watch it again. The short story by Stephen King it's based on is also decent.
War Inc. was pretty bad, although hearing Hillary Duff curse like that was a nice surprise. But I wouldn't recommend the movie.

That was everyone at their finest - Minnie Driver before she was annoying, Cusack in the role he was born for, Akroyd before he became a caricature of himself.
