Universal Soldiers: The Next Generation is the upcoming fifth film in the Universal Soldier series
How the hell did that happen?
EDIT:
Quote:
PlotThe militant Islamist Chechen Basayev takes control of Chernobyl and threatens to unleash a radioactive cloud unless his demands are met. Luc Deveraux (Van Damme) joins a new team of UniSols secretly held in deep storage. Their mission: retake Chernobyl and disable explosives that will unleash radioactive clouds. Luc discovers that one of the reactivated Universal Soldiers is a clone of his old Sergeant, Andrew Scott (Lundgren).
This is a plot?

I like the first one bestest.
It's like they sat down and said "Day After Tomorrow had too much plot and human interest and not enough destructivation. How can we fix dis?"

God I can't wait until 2013 when we won't have to tolerate media using the fucking Mayan calendar as the plot for the world ending and shitty History Channel shows.

Drink everytime a famous landmark is destroyed in lovingly rendered destructoporn CG.
Drink twice if one of the first three happens to be French.

Like The Statue of Liberty?
From seeing the trailer it's hard to imagine where they can go from there. Giant gas planets careering into each other perhaps.

Well, it's nice to see the Battlestar Galactica make a reappearance (2:03) in the HD trailer.

I'd watch that. Get Mel Brooks to direct, attach some dialogue, add a dash of pathos, sprinkle in some hubris, and call it a sequel to Space Balls.
Box office insta-smash right there.

well the next disaster movie consists of a virus in that causes characters in online game to come alive and run in a rampage around the world. With the sub title 'Arthas will make you his bitch'.:thumb:
