Guys, I know that as a non-contributor to this community it's not really my place to say this, but still... take it easy.
Having done a more thorough google search (up to page two), it pains me greatly to read this thread, even as a non-participant. I'd guess he's had to go through quite a lot of shit, and personally I'd think twice about getting on his ass about grammar or anything else.
I know you're all basically good guys except for fett. But I don't think the commchat code of conduct (not that there's anything wrong with it) applies in this specific situation. I'd show a measure of respect, or at the very least an understanding welcome.

While I love the sarcasm and all, people, there are some times when the thin veneer of elitist snobbery just doesn't make one any smarter.

While commchat isn't a place to take things too seriously, I believe that as liberal and thick-skinned as everybody is - both are compliments, mind you - maybe there's still room for a little more open-mindedness.
That's just my two cents; and it's probably going to be met with utter derision or be plain ignored.
Whatever happens, this thread was far more entertaining when it was about cab drivers making pedestrians feel like two-penny prostitutes.
