It would be really nice if you could somehow get rid of the Sixth House shrines. It has always bothered me that I can kill all the worshippers and whatnot, but that the shrine itself will always remain, ready to be used again... There could be some kind of a ritual, perhaps available only to the higher ranks of the Temple's hierarchy, that is able to purify, destroy or whatever, such a shrine, making it useless for the purpose of worshipping...
Oh, well... Just a little thing. ;)

I suppose that would be pretty interesting, but the team only had so much time. Sounds like good mod material, actually. I'm not sure, but I think it would be possible to write script that would delete all the shrines and the ash monsters and such, maybe the lights and scary noises as well.
Although it would probably be easier to just change the external door of the place so that instead of moving you inside, it says "Enter this room and I will kill you. - Almalexia" or something.

"Why bother?"
Go to the Thief mod forums and they'll tell you. ;)
If I only had time to learn scripting properly, I could do it myself, but... Too much to do... :/

Scripting is not that hard dude, but yes it take some qaulity times tho. If you want grab some scripts already made and learn it. Its almost like writing in C/C++ languages.
I download quite a few mods i like and came across some missing codes or not working properly (had to fix them manually).
Scripting can do imazing things.

Absolutely no need IMO. You might as well add bulding decay while you are at it :P.
