All those weak of heart and those who do not like anything scary, please do not read any further.

For those still reading, the (http://www.elderscrolls.com/ubbthreads/showflat.php?Cat=&Number=2786545&page=3&view=collapsed&sb=5&o=14&fpart=1) Horror Mod was released two days ago. (It is on Morrowind Summit also)

It arrives at a eye-watering, bandwith killing 90 mb zipped in .rar format. Visiting the thread will give you some information on the mod.

It is, IMHO, a very good mod that is delightfully frightening and creepy. A good portion of the dungeon is extremely dark and you can only see by using special lanterns (for sale at the trader in nearby Suran). It is extremely large (I must've put in a good 18+ hours since it came out and I'm maybe half-way to completing it) and well designed, although it could be improved greatly by a good texture artist.

The mod is designed for high level characters and there is a good amount of combat (some which can be avoided by stealth), but also a good amount of puzzles and, sadly enough, some key hunting. A portion of the dungeon is similar to Silent Hill and its' ilk.

The real reason I posted this thread was so I don't feel like I'm going through it alone.

By the way, I'm willing to help if someone gets stuck; it can get frustrating at times.

Good job to the makers, but does this require tribunal or bloodmoon? Installing 3 games is a pain. I remember when I decided to play Sims, so I got all the games and expansions(11 cds or something) ugh to that...

Hey Defcon,
Im in the middle of the horror mod currently and so far ive done pretty well. however, i am now stuck and i cant find a key i need. im in the prison under Dark Hill and im in the tourture room, but i cant find the key i need to open the gate in that room. ive tried searching but i cant find the key. Either im just really unlucky and keep missing it again and again or ive hit a glitch, which i doubt. would u be able to tell me where its located? thanx alot

Holy SH*T! This guy is spying on my work! No worries, my plug-in will for sure surpass this one! Now its on!!!!!! lol, Great work to the maker, but it could use better texturing. This is a good one! I've tried it. Fun, addicting, and somewhat scary. I hope this guy makes more like this one! :thumb:

hey striker dont you have any friends with a fast dsl or cable link: I have dialup to but I get my mods from a friend who is willing to download them and put them on a cd
