I'm surprised that it is, or at least that this operator thought it was. As kids, my friends and I never prank called 911 because we thought it was SERIOUS BUSINESS and that the police were certain to arrive.

This has been all over the place here in Michigan.
I have heard the 911 call, but I can't find a working link right now.
The kid was very calm, but soft-spoken and grew audibly frustrated as the call went on.
The blame here is <b>totally</b> with the 911 operator, in my view.
