Or at least the first time you save them. Go to the console and type "save savename". So "save Pendragon" would name the save Pendragon in the save/load menus. And you can save over it as many times as you want and it won't rename the save.

But can you name the potions you create? My favorite at the moment is Shield 30%, Restore Health, Restore Magicka. But everytime I make it, no matter what order I attempt, it just shows up with Restore Health along with the rest of my Restore Health potions.

On the X360, you can name potions you create. I didn't think PC gamers wouldn't get that choice

Maybe I just never noticed. Is there a place for it just like for enchantments? I'll look more carefully. Truthfully, most of the potions I make are very quick. 100 Restore Fatigue potions in 15 seconds to up my Int and sell for money. Could be in my rush I just didn't look at the interface closely enough.

Just click the default name and type away to change potion names.

You also have to hit "enter" after typing the new name, or else it still uses the default name. In other words, you can rename a potion "Hanse's Magical Potion of Pwnage" in the text box, but if you don't hit "enter" before clicking the make potion button, it won't keep the name. Morrowind alchemy was the same way, it annoyed me to no end until I finally realized you had to hit "enter" after renaming.
