You are getting me all riled up again... - by DarthMRN

I just saw that Agent Denton was banned recently, and I went through his posts for offensive material. I found nothing. Ive never seen a banned member before, so this got me a little worked up.
I know im in no position to question any administrator on their actions, but I would really like to know if random bannings occur if the admin is having a particularly bad day, or if the system is suffering from some random banning problem.
Otherwise Ill just assume the good Agent tried to mess with the server settings, or that whatever hyper-offensive post he made was removed.
Please understand, the prospect of losing my TTLG account due to some coincidence, is scaring me more than a little.

Agent Denton appears to have been caught up in the Ban Net when some of his other, less-sociable, alter-egos were banned.
Usually bannings happen at an account-level (as opposed to an IP level), so the Banned can usually just register again and start over (though obviously we know who they are, we generally don't hold it against anyone who is shooting for a clean slate)
Anyway, in the completely unlikely event that you find your account deactivated, David and I are always available via email. If there has been a mistake (which could possibly be the case if a particularly persistent troll has forced us to IP-ban an entire block -- it's happened, and it's always just temporary) then we'll always do our best to immediately fix things.
There are no capricious or whimsical bans. There is always the chance of brain-farting error (like pressing the wrong button by mistake -- never happens, but it always could), but we tend to notice and fix that kind of thing before the affected person does. And I think it's only happened once, anyway.

Please note that for most of the banned members, including Agent Denton, you won't be able to see the material that got them banned as it is moved from public view.

You should do some "Naughty things one isnt supposed to do" thingy which has the banned persons post in view, along with his real name, photo, address, phone number and witty comments.
