Way to show those kids what they are made of. It's interesting to note that the old rebel Satan is depicted as creator as well as destroyer.
What's the old man's role though? Did he have the same experience as a kid? Satan uses his face in the beginning. And he looks like Einstein of course.

That isn't Einstein, it's Mark Twain. I haven't seen that show in about forever, but I think he's giving the kids a personal tour through all his books.
