We don't have drugs in Britain, so we self-medicate with booze

Also Verapamil - a calcium beta blocker which lowers my (already low) blood pressure and relaxes the heart muscles.
I take Verapamil also, fett, as well as Maxide (a diuretic) for high blood pressure. What kind of side effects are you getting from Verapamil? The thing I don't like about it is that I'm not allowed to eat grapefruit while on that med.

I take prevacid because I have stomach acid with the strength of TEN MEN!

I used to take Prevacid, until my insurance company decided that they no longer covered it for some unknown reason. So now I take Aciphex, which is, admittedly much more fun to say. ;)
The cool thing about both Prevacid and Aciphex (that is, besides the fact that they keep me from vomiting liquid fire 3 times a day) is that both have a never-ending rebate program. For every prescription, we send the receipt in with the rebate coupon and we get a check back for the full amount (and a new rebate coupon). Both MrLedd and I have been taking Prevacid or Aciphex for about 4 years now, and we literally have never paid a dime for either of them. Gotta love that, eh?

I could fucking use that. I'm on Inderal (beta-blocker) for spasms and migraines, and before going on it I litterally did not know that you could get a headache that wouldn't turn into a migraine. People would tell me "I've had a headache all day" and I would sit there thinking "How the fuck are you stil standing" because at that point I would have been doubled over on the ground in the worst agonizing pain I can imagine (and I've broken my femur, my arm on two occasions in a total of three places, had a concussion, fallen on my head in multiple instances snowboarding...)
One time during a migraine I broke a pane of wire reinforced glass, with my forehead, and didn't notice until hours later when I came back into the building (I had been leaving at them time, and in my blinding pain felt it appropriate to open the door with my face instead of like, my hands) and the glass had miraculously become a spiderweb of cracks. The migraine was so painful I didn't even notice the sensation of the impact.
Yeah, they suck.
Also I take Bupropion HCL (Welbutrin) for depression (not fun to over-medicate on) and lithium for mood stabilzing.
Me=MedicineCabinent FTW!

Not covered, or requires prior authorization or step therapy? How did you find out? Did someone at the insurance company tell you, or did the pharmacist? Because if it was the pharmacist, uh, they really don't know that. They just know that the clamis come back with rejects, and sometimes they don't even call us to clarify.

I've heard off that infomercial with the "cure all" book, that instead of taking tums, you can simply take a teaspoon of vinigar to nutralize the acids in your stomache. I don't see how this works and I haven't had a stomache ache for a long time. Anyone know if this is true? The other stuff the guy mentions, such as coral-calcium curing cancer seems to be complete BS so I'm questioning this guy's reliability.
ps: Found a link:

Just looking at this guy makes me hate him.
