I was talking about a single v2.you can get one for few bucks if you are able to find a local seller and pick it up personally.one of my friends even found one alongside trash can (perfectly working,btw).I have bought mine for $7,coupled it with the one I already had,connected all cables,works.ebay is not really a good place if you want to get something as cheap (shipping,fees etc).
so basically,if you want a working v2 SLI,it will cost you around $10-15,maybe bit less,maybe more.depends on the seller as well (I have sold one v2 SLI setup for $16 myself,cables and cds included).as for drivers&problems& stuff,I have the knowledge,feel free to ask.I had a v4 pci+v2 SLI running alongside r9800p and voodootv/fm,and it ran fine.
anyway,I didnt want to bother you with with my voodoo obsession,all I wanted to say is:
if you have a pc crappy enough to not run DX (or unreal/UT/rune etc) properly (integrated graphics cards,no agp slot,whatever),and you dont want to (or cant) waste money for a new primary graphics card (geforce2 will definitely cost much more,not mentioning the fact it will be useless if you dont have an agp port),a single v2 may be a quick&extremely cheap solution for this.bit dirty (max 800*600 res),but a solution nevertheless.thats all.
