Yet another stupid question. - by Loké

Store them at home. Home for me was Caius's house, until I got my stronghold. But there are other possibilities. Read the 'Where is your home in Vvardenfell' thread on the MW General Discussion forum.
Remember that some artifacts can be sold to the Museum in Mournhold (Tribunal) for quite a lot of money. More than you'll get off anyone on Vvardenfell, anyway.

I store all items with 5000+ value in my Hlaalu stronghold.
All under 5000 i sell.

Not entirely relevant to the subject, but still worth mentioning is the Raven Rock Smith in Bloodmoon (Factor Estate sucks). The smith has 10K barter gold (nice for getting rid of those ice maces) but doesn't have anything higher than silver, with the exception of an enchanted Ebony Shield. On that topic, does anybody know what happens if you choose to build a Trade Outpost instead?

Nope. I went with a Smithy too... I didn't care what everyone else wanted. I don't think it really matters that much.

Yeah, the colony was sort of disappointing in that respect. I thought it would be more like deciding where every non-residential building will be, what the walls and towers are made of, pouring a fuckload of gold on the project, etc. and having the amount of and general tpe of settlers vary depending on your choices. When I actually signed into the East Empire Company, I thought that I would get to a much higher rank, perhaps get quests from the guy in Ebonheart and find out a bit about politics and do some interesting quests. Saying that it didn't meet my expectations is an understatement.
Well... I guess I'm off to find out if there's an ASE update for Bloodmoon.

*cough* Bloodmoon spoilers? I don't think you'd care that much. It's not that big of a spoiler.
Did you by any chance find the third location for your house? I could only find two, one near the mine (east I think, I can't remember) and another one behind the row of houses (south of the first torch I found.)

The first one I saw was by the bar, and since I make a point out of having 50 units of Flin on me at all times, it suited me perfectly. I didn't even bother with the other two.

That's right, east of the bar, not the mine. Ah well, I picked the same location. I wasn't too impressed with the manor though... You should download my Citadel mod. It's way better ^.^

Black Shalk is fine. If I ever want an actual house, I guess that I could move into one of the vacant rent-os at St. Olms or use Vivec Abode...

I mean for Solstheim. You don't want to go all that way between the two places, do you? I've got a house in Balmora and a house in Solstheim, heh. It's pretty useful.
