I'm following D'Spair's excellent mission tutorial. I'm on section 1.3, and after several hours, I can't get the thing to run by selecting New Mission. Everything goes fine, it appears that the Bank mission will load, then it goes to the Inn mission instead.

I followed Komags installation guide so I have two T3 Directories, T3 and T3 Editor. What's confusing is that I'm not sure which directory I should be making changes to. I was working from the Editor directory, changing the entry map, and other files. Could that be the problem? I tried copying over the maps(gmp), T3gamesys file, and briefings stuff to the original T3 directory, and I get the same thing. Do I need to get rid of the original T3 installation, re-install the editor and just work out of that directory? And yes, I always do a build/export/save before trying to launch.

I've spent all day on this thing and am beginning to think that quite possibly, I may be retarded.

Would really appreciate some advice.

Did you install the editor into the main Thief3 dir?
Did you turn off block loading so it'd run the gmp files?
Did you put the editor version of T3.exe into the real T3 dir?
And have you tried compiling and moving .ibt files over to the real one?

Sorry if that's all a little patronising, but I don't use the two-installs thing, so I'm not exactly up to speed on the topic.

I appreciate all the advice I can get, stupid thing is driving me nuts. I think I'm going to get rid of the two installs, gotta be the problem. I'll double check the above first.
