NOT!
I've been playing at difficulty +50 since I started my Breton mage (custom class.. Arcane Agent)
I fought my way up to level 14, then, tired of being slaughtered, bought my way to 22.
Now I am level 24, and what do I find? The occasional Golden Saint, Dremora Lord, or Winged Twilight can kill me in one hit.
Yeah, the game is too easy.. why don't you powergamers try the difficulty slider?
Yeah.. too easy... :nono:
-edit- And I fucking like it, man! :thumb: My Nord -patch slaughtered everything in his path. This, however, (my Breton mage), is great fun. :D
At least battles now require some thought, and quick reflexes, and -god forbid-, planning. (got the Dragon Skin? check. Got the Paralyze 20sec? check. Got at least 200 magicka? check. Got some balls? check.) :D

heh, Nice rant man:thumb:
I've been steady turning up the diffaculty as I go, whenever it starts to get too easy. I'm at lvl 30 with my latest char. (darkelf anti-mage mage) and I have the diffaculty at around 25 sofar, and thats without buying any training. 50 must be hell so props.

Heh, I'm like level 22 and my Wood Elf still has huge problems killing Cliff Racers :P

My level ~25 Envoy (part soldier, part sneaky spy, part cleric) can't be touched by, well, anything. A little bit of care in choosing heavy armour and perma-health-regen items goes a long way. (No, not the invulna-robe, post-patch)

Yeah. But I'm a pure mage in light armor (goddamn chitin!)
The things that don't reflect my spells, run up to me and whack me a few times and I get the nice 'would you like to load the last save' message. ;)

Normally I wouldn't say anything about the use of profanity as it often applies to the game (especially for an xbox user :D ), but the gd goes beyong my tolerance lvl....
Please refrain as i enjoyed your post otherwise...

Skronk, go to the ghostgate and get buy some glass armour from the guy in the lower area of one of the towers - its fairly expensive to buy if you can't nick it, but if you can it has a base-rate of about the same as ebony, if I remember it right.
After that you'll probably be able to survive a bit longer.
I'm about level 25 (custom class, bit of everything and light armour) and I find that Dremora lords aren't too bad but the Golden saint and Winged twilight still smash me into little pieces with about 6-10 hits.
Skronk on 11/9/2002 at 04:28
Yeah, glass armor. But rather than stealing it, I'm going to go to that dwemer ruin in the northwest, the one southwest of that first ashlander camp you go to.
There's a vampire base there, and iirc, one of the vampires is wearing a full suit of glass. :)
I can't have any stolen stuff on me, because I'm in the Morag Tong, and dropping your inventory just to talk to a guard after a hit is freaking annoying.
Forsythe on 11/9/2002 at 04:50
*grin* So who needs to talk to guards? Frenzy Humanoid ;)

I have a custom made char on level 40 ( fighter/mage/thief) and have pushed the difficulty slider way up to 70something.
It is still easy, very easy. I am thinking about pushing it up to the 90s.
Lets face it, if you have played Morrowind alittle while it just becomes too easy. There are just so many ways to work the game ( and I don't really talk about cheating).
Some things you could call exploiting but there are things that just work like that in Morrowind; so i wouldn't call it exploiting.
