would you mind elaborating on that and pointing out the errors? I'd really appreciate that.
It's tricky to shoot the same three people in the same room doing the same thing for a long period and make it interesting and you're changing the way you do it every time, presumably for that reason. So it's understandable that there's a few slips. For the most part it holds ok (if not exactly sparkling cinematography ;) )
In the first scene after the (first look at the) party there's some examples. There's this set of shots that are almost point of view from Joshua's seat that get a lot of funny eyelines. The shot where the other guy chews him out over his oscar (geez I wish there was timecode on this), he's looking sort of straight at or to the left of camera. This would work better with the previous shot if he was looking right of frame. That then goes to a two shot of the guys which re-establishes the space a bit, but then cuts to a similar position as before where the girl speaks and she is looking left of frame as well. That last shot should be a reverse of the previous angle, albeit a single shot.
The "line" in this scene moves around between the characters, but it's shot mostly from the coffee table side of things. In those moments I mentioned it is as though it hops onto the right arm of Joshua's char. That may even be where it was, but with a few tweaks everyone could be pretending to look at the right spot.
The first shot in the car park isn't level and there's enough structural stuff to make it a bit too obvious. You'll probably mention that the tripods you've got don't have spirit levels in them, which wouldn't surprise me as good ones are expensive and if you don't have the cameras to justify them the school isn't going to bother.
There's a few other things, but not a lot really. I'll leave it for the moment to see if this makes any sense.

I currently have a feature-length script being butchered in production with an Indie company, so I shall refrain from any criticism as I'm already grumpy--and will just say congratulations for actually doing something through to completion. :thumb:
