lol sorry. I've been keeping up on XCOM 2 news, but just not talking about it here. Angry Joe put up a (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HVw-QOU06WU) gameplay video a few days ago.

Seems like this game (unlike the first) is going to be very time sensitive, in terms of needing to stop/slow alien projects in progress.

The weapon mod system looks good :).

Knowing what a time-sink this is going to be I don't think that I will get a chance to play it unless I somehow finish the 5-6 games that I want to complete before I go overseas on holiday. Have been really looking forward to this for some time.

Despite still being fully engrossed in The Witcher 3, I'm super impatient for this game to be released. I really hope they allow pre-loading so I can play it a few milliseconds after it's out.

Well the hyped "day 1 Firaxis commissioned mods" from Long War Studios certainly sound underwhelming.

Metacritic is currently sitting at 91% over 29 critic reviews, which isn't very shabby.
I pre-ordered it back in September and have been pulling at the reins to play this and I won't be able to until Sunday evening because I'll be in Berlin all weekend.

In honour of everyone going doolally over XCOM 2, I've reinstalled XCOM, which I've started twice in the past but never really got into all that much. Do any of you have any tips along the lines of "I wish I'd known xyz when I first played XCOM"? (For the record, I've got Enemy Within installed as well.)

Satellites are your primary concern. Play on the easiest setting first.
