Help! I've been playing the xbox version (it's more comfortable to play while lying on the couch) and I've been having problems with it crashing. It'll freeze and say my cd is dirty or damaged. But it looks totally clean and fine when I pop it out to take a look. Does anyone else have this problem with morrowind or xbox in general... both are less than a month old. Should I actually have sent in that warrenty card?? Lol. Anyone have any ideas?

I personally dont have the xbox version. However about the dirty disk i have goten that before when playing Halo online useing gamespy its usally just a pain in the A$$ and dosent mean a thing. Another solution whould be to save every 5 min and see how far u get.:cheeky:

i've got the xbox version, about 3 weeks or so now, and mine crashed once while i was in Marandas. it suddenly saved for no reason, froze up, went black and gave me that warning message, then when i turned it off and back on there was a 'restore' save game. pretty weird. i save constantly so i didn't use the restore but at least it did that instead of killed it completely. but whatever, it only did it once, so no biggy for me...

My Xbox has given me the dirty disc message a few times. Just keep saving, then you wont have to trapse around an extra 2 hours to get to where you were b4 it crashed.

Not that I want to be totally snide here or anything, but leave it to microsoft to make a game console that crashes. As if we needed another reason not to buy one.

It doesn't crash even remotely as many times as the PC version did when it came out. I would've gotten it then, but then I would have to spend in the excess of $500 to upgrade my comp so it could handle it, download a few patches, and hope I know what I'm doing when I install them. Also, I didn't want to have the ability to "cheat". The Xbox is only $200 and it handles the game just fine for the most part(mine has crashed 3 times in the 1 1/2 months I've played/owned Morrowind. Also, I've heard that if I didn't have any MP3's on my Xbox (I have 200+ songs), then it would rarely, if ever, crash. I have Thief on my PC and that works pretty good, but, excuse me for being cheap;) , I went for the better deal with MS (plus the fact that Splinter Cell and many other kickass games are coming soon). Don't take any offense by this, as I mean none. I'm simply stating my opinion:p

I crash often (usually when going to the world map), and I found the wonderful, AND UNCORRECTABLE, bug with Fury, so I have to retrain 70 points of Heavy Armor... When it says it removes 20 points, its lying like hell.
Be sure to NEVER pick up that piece of shit, or you'll regret it.
