Tuco, what are you doing up this late? I'm only just going to bed, lol. And nice irrelevant comment... but I don't think anyone else cares ;)

Xbox has it's advantages, you have smooth playing all the time. Plus, Morrowind, Tribunal and Bloodmoon are coming on one disk to Xbox. So you can either start a new character or continue your existing character and travel all over Vvardenfell, Solthiesm (sp) and Mournhold.

I've logged over 50 hours on the X-box version and it hasn't frozen once. Load times aren't that bad, maybe 30 to 45 seconds at most. And...... you can pick up a used copy for about $18!

Maybe it's just my XBox then. Mine has frozen countless times... and compared to the loading/saving times on the PC... well... it's slow. But I'm not very patient for loading screens anyway.

The only advantages I can see for playing it on the Xbox would be:
1) Get to sit on the couch while you're playing
2) Uber-powerful stuff (i.e. Robe of St. Roris) didn't get nerfed in the first patch, cause there are no Xbox patches. Although, in truth, those things made the game almost dull, as you were largely undefeatable as a level 3 or 4 character.

Ryushiblade,
It's my understanding that the X-box will freeze up if it overheats. Make sure it's not stuffed into a small shelf or some such (i.e. entertainment center) and has good ventilation. That may be the problem. I've heard of someone else having this problem.
Ender9594 on 6/6/2003 at 05:44
on one character of mine the orc that you need for the 2nd quest is gone and for some reason that game froze a LOT. On my other char. She is still where she belongs and it has only frozen once(around10-20 hrs of game play.) so i'm guessing it might be that clipping problem with the second quest orc.
and I agree with Justice01
you should also check if you x-box is really dusty... that can really mess the games up
RyushiBlade on 6/6/2003 at 05:54
Nah, usually if I hit it a few times it unfreezes. But I think if I keep it out in the open the console might last longer... Thanks guys :cheeky:
Ender9594 on 6/6/2003 at 06:03
ooh are you serious about hitting it a few times and unfreezing it? cause that could be pretty useful... when it freezes at an important part
