Car + fire >> car. Pyro, your role in this movie justified.

Along those same lines at the end of the big Alcatraz battle all the cars left on the bridge had their headlights on. The cars that had been abandoned by panicked commuters when the bridge started moving which, as you pointed out, was in the middle of the day. So either San Francisco drivers are really safety conscious or they all came back to turn their lights on to provide the appropriate lighting for Our Heroes.
I didn't even blink, since we have DRLs on the automobiles in Canada. Notice how the new Mercedes Benz SUV product placement wasn't destroyed by Magneto? I wonder how much tuition costs at Xavier's school, considering the fact that everything from supersonic jets to IV bottles are custom made and emblazoned with the X-Men logo.
Where the heck
was Nightcrawler anyway? Fundraising?

I.E. Rouge. She was one of the best, we all know her comic background, and the movies crapped all over it.
Someone reminded me that Rogue hasn't yet absorbed Ms. Marvels powers - flight, strength, etc., because these movies wanted the characters to be much younger than when we first meet them in the comics. Without those powers, she's pretty normal. So, in a nutshell - this
is her background. Heavily modified, to be sure, but we are talking about comic books here; retcon is practically their middle name.
Also, in my very humble opinion, this director knows enough to make me enjoy watching an X-Men movie (something the prior director couldn't do. I watched, deleted, and forgot about them.).
More Saturday Morning cartoon feel, less Saturday Afternoon live-action feel.

Just remember, you forced me.
When's the last time I told you that I love you?
That was totally worth it just to hear Morgan Webb make proliferous mention of the <strike>cock</strike> Kha'ak.

IIRC either the writer of X-Men 1, or it may have been Bryan Singer, at one point in an interview said that for the sequels Rogue would have permanently absorbed Magneto's powers due to the length of time he had to touch her to transfer enough for her to power the machine properly, and from those she would approximate the comic book Rogue with Ms. Marvel's powers.
Apparently they dropped that idea more or less immediately.

It's not like she actually
did anything in X2 & 3, for all we know she could have gained those powers permanently
(until the cure at least) but just not been aware of it.
Would make her closer to AoA Rogue, the main difference being her relationship to Magneto.
