That was some awful dialogue. The writers should never be allowed to work in the film business again. Brett Ratner sucks too.
I predicted the end when I saw Xavier smiling.
I thought the "I'm Juggernaut bitch!" line was retarded. Then again, I've never understood what people found so funny about the Chapelle Show.

The Seattle Weekly reviewer put it well when he said something along the lines of "the scenes don't unfold organically so much as end at the bottom of the page". It was actually pretty striking how many scenes just kinda ended without any clear conclusion; the actor just said the last line and walked off the set.

My understanding is that's something of his catchphrase in the comics.

It reminded a bit of Thief convos at that...

Yeah, I really can't decide if the internet dictating script lines like "Don't you know who I am? I'm the Juggernaut, bitch!" and "We got muthafuckin' snakes on the muthafuckin' plane!" into movies works well, or if it breaks the third wall. I might think it's cool in certain aspects, but imagine if movies had scenes that you'd either inserted or had a say in having manipulated through pure fanspeak. Of course, the only truth here is that it would've meant saving Star Wars after Episode 1.

I liked how it was daytime when Magneto started moving the bridge, and then it was nighttime when he stopped moving the bridge. He clearly affected the magnetic field of the Earth and fast-forwarded the day a few hours so the endboss fight would be more dramatic!
Also needed more Nightcrawler and less Kitty Pride.
Also it was a good movie overall. I had fun. I even cheered a few times.

But then, you're a big faggy comic book fan.

Yeah it was an odd movie. There was a lot of really obvious stupid stuff like that but at the same time it was entertaining enough it didn't really matter.
Along those same lines at the end of the big Alcatraz battle all the cars left on the bridge had their headlights on. The cars that had been abandoned by panicked commuters when the bridge started moving which, as you pointed out, was in the middle of the day. So either San Francisco drivers are really safety conscious or they all came back to turn their lights on to provide the appropriate lighting for Our Heroes.
