Most people here didnt stay after the credits. They left when the credits started. I stayed . So I dont think Charles died. Maybe he and the other 2 were sent into another dimension or another part of the planet.

Xavier's smile just before Jean rips him apart is in response to her moving his consciousness to the other body, which he explicitly mentions earlier in the film (this actually happen). It has nothing to do with other dimensions.

I went to see X3 to be entertained and I wasn't disappointed in the least. I wish I would have known about the bit during (after?) the credits where Xavier's consciousness is transferred to the comatose (blank?) guy. I also didn't know about Wolverine's ability to be in multiple places simultaneously. The movie was so fast-paced that I'm inclined to go see it again. Just for the hell of it, mind you. ;)

If you were a comicbook fan you would know that The Xmen from time to time went into other dimensions. In fact the whole Marvel Universe has gone into other dimensions. Also did you notice that there was no evidence of Charles being there after she ripped him apart. She could have ripped him apart sent him into another dimension or where ever and reassembled him back

:tsktsk: You should
always stay past the credits. Even if it's just to read the misc. names of misc. people who did misc. things.
You
paid to see those credits. *sigh*
Walking out at the beginning of credits and "getting mad at the movie and leaving"- I just don't
get that. Just sit down and enjoy the movie!

You paid for your TV subscription! Whyfor do you not watch the commercials you paid for? So confused. :(

Sometimes you go to the movies with friends who have no interest in staying there for the credits and sometimes you are just bored/disgusted enough after the movie to give a damn.
In this case I don't really care about seeing the extra part after the movie, but usually I'm pissed off to find out that I missed out on a few seconds of the material. Why do they do that? It's like some kinda price for reading all those names of all those people you have never heard of before?

I dont think I will go see X3. I read the spoilers even though I havent seen it, because I wanted to know if the movie would damage my opinion of the on screen personalities in contrast to their comic book roots. I am glad I am not going to see it. In my opinion X1&2 were pretty good movies, and I like them quite alot, but even those didnt do the characters personalities justice or their relationships to each other. I.E. Rouge. She was one of the best, we all know her comic background, and the movies crapped all over it. Yet thats just my dumbass opinion.
Furthermore, why isnt Gambit in any of this!?
