Three things for Dia:
1. Learn to take a zing.
2. Stop with the husband jabs already. Surprisingly enough, humor that takes the piss out of Person A isn't all that funny to anyone who has no idea who Person A is.
3. I find your cats smarter than dogs factoid dubious at best. Having grown up with cats all my life, I was a bit surprised at the keen intelligence I've witnessed in some of the smarter breeds of dogs.

Cats are smarter, wild cats don't meow. So they choose a way to communicate, that is a pretty big step for an animal. They know of their own existance, they know of your existance and they know that they can make us understand what they want.
