In the end, I wrote that the current expansion of their company would give me the chance to play a part in designing their future network... blah blah blah... The company is currently running a campaign about going to the stock exchange next month.
Anyway, I got invited to an interview tomorrow. Wish me luck.

Btw, america is building a great labor system. See, its where you as the hard working consumer mean shit and the business that just cant wait to fuck you means everything. You get to auction yourself off like a piece of meet to the lowest bidder for less money than before so that you can live in an ever shittier enviornment while your cost of living increases every day, just so stockholders can make more millions. its great, you should all come live here.

I just interviewed 2 people last week and never got a :grr: thank you card from either of them. I'll be sure to jot that down on their records.

That went pretty well. From what they told me, they only invited a handful of candidates, although they must have had at least a hundred applicants.
They are going to let me know within two weeks, which sounds very reassuring.

Just an update: I'm just back from my second interview and now it's only a matter of form. One of the big heads needs to give his/her OK, but that should be no problem. Once that is done, I'm starting my new job on 1st Aug. :D

You seen any of Johannes B. Kerner lately? ;)
Also, congrats.

Congrats Kyloe,
I've been at my new job myself for about 3 weeks now, and I have to say the transition's always an interesting one.
Have fun, and I hope for your sake that you can take time off in between. I only took a week, and even that wasn't nearly long enough.

Thank, you. Is it that obvious that I'm going to be an air-berliner soon? :)
There won't be any more days off, I'm afraid. I'm sure my boss will send me all over the country for the rest of July. But I've spend two weeks in Sweden in June, crafting my own bow. That reminds me that I wanted to make a thread about it.

Well, you said something about "airline industry" and then "going to the stock exchange", and I did the maths...
To all non-German taffers: This probably doesn't make any sense to you, but it would if you were living in Germany :p
