My solution to the fix after trying out Autohotkey:
Go out and buy a Xbox360 wireless controller and receiver. It made Skyrim 333.33% more enjoyable.

Out of interest, why (no - I'm not trolling)? I personally don't have a problem with the default keys since they're close to other keyboard actions you need on a regular basis. The numeric hotkeys are something I would expect to be difficult on a controller due to limited buttons.

Nope. Just an insane visionary. If you played any of my Thief2 FM, you might get any idea. I'm not here to piss anyone off, nor to be ugly. I just didn't enjoy the 'Go back to wherever you crawled out of' comment. That's all. The extra 233.33% is me not feeling let down by the game. Paradigms crash and fall daily.
