Ok, actually it was last week.
Just raced my first cup in the Career mode, earned some upgrades for my car. The quality of the game has been a bit up and down during the EA period, but I'm glad to report that the final product plays great and runs like a dream! With it's weightier cars and more realistic feel it does remind me more of Flatout 1 than Flatout 2 though.

I loved Flatout 1 and 2, so I'm looking forward to trying this... once it hits the bargain bin. :) Is this the same game that was called Next Car Game at some point?

I've spent a lot of time with Wreckfest over the past couple weeks. The racing's good, and I'm enjoying the career progression, though as usual with these types of games if there's a robust replay editor (or photo mode) I tend to end up spending as much time with that as the game proper, Wreckfest is no exception. :)
