No posts in a long time. I thought i would post something, what the hell...
So i have played through the game every single way possible at least 3 times. the only thing that I cant figure out hiw ti save paul and keep him alive. I have tried over and over but for some reason he disappears when fighting in the lobby.
How do you keep Paul alive?

You could ask in DX Gen as I don't think spoilers are an issue any more but thanks for putting a thread up in here! :)
To save Paul you have to disobey him and not leave through the window, it's that simple. It doesn't matter if you "die" in the hotel room or get to Gunther via the subway, just don't leave through the window.

It may take some save/restoring, but you can fight with the troops and meet with Paul after everyone's dead. Try gas grenades, and keep Paul away from the MiB.

It doesnt matter if he disappears, as long as you exit through the front door. His is invincible anyway.

If you accompany him all the way to the front door, it deactivates the 'window killswitch', too.
The thinking being, I guess, that if you saw him all the way to the door you must've been keen on his wellbeing.
It's tricky to do, though, since his orders are 'leaving', which makes him vanish once he's out of your sight. If he vanishes before reaching the front door, the window will still kill him.
Tis all a bit silly, really.

My preferred method of surviving the apartment raid is to get in the closet and wait for him to deal with it. The alternative is to stack up lots of Boom (Sunglasses at Night. Read it) and let him or the MIBs set it off while you hide.
