If you have the gold to finance yourself and youre looking to enchant every one of your inventory items with constant effect properties but dont want to hunt for grand soul gems or golden saints then try this little trick I found...
Switching the soul gem does not get rid of the "constant effect" modifier. This means you enchant an item as you normally would but when youre done, change the gem. Poof. You get a constant effect enchantmed item and keep your precious Golden Saint.
The options are limitless. If you have enough cash you can become uber powerful. You can imbue all your amor pieces on top of clothing, weapons, rings etc.
I imbued a levitate ring, a regeneration amulet (health) and another for fatigue. I also imbued my armor to boost my med armor skill, str, int and wisdom. Best of all is the reflect ring... hehe... so much for those pesky mages. Then I ran out of money.
Just thought I'd share the wealth... (well... so as long as it lasts... dont use all your $$ like I did =)

You could also open the console and type...
placeatpc-> "dagoth ur" 20,20,1
"dagoth ur"-> sethealth 0
playmoviefile "End.bik"
And save yourself the trouble of actually playing the whole game.

Yeah but that wouldn't get you your cool custom made enchanted suit of ebony armour that you're trying to make, would it? ;)
Not that Golden Saints are hard to come by... just tour the daedric ruins and tombs if youre hard enough. Why can't you get their armour though, I want a suit of that.

player->AddSoulGem "Golden Saint" "Grand Soul Gem"

Hmm, a permanent item that regenerates hp is a ways off yet for my character, so I made the next best thing. I enchanted each piece of a chitin armor set with short term regeneration: 1 to 2 hp per second for 10 to 45 seconds, depending on the item. These are easy enchantments and man, when you power that suit of chitin up right before combat, nothing can stop yaz. :ebil:

Custom enchantments rule.
I just found myself needing an 'equalizer' for my toe-to-toe axe slugger character so he can go into daderic shrines and start raking in the good stuff. Trouble is you never find any good axes. So, thinks I, I need to make one.
Paralyze and absorb health are probably the best on strike enchantments you can have. But paralyse is reeely expensive, in money, cast cost and enchantment points. Most ordinary weapons (silver or less) have 5 or less enchantment points which gets you 2 sec paralysis at most - I guess you can't even make something like the jinkblades you find, that has a 10 sec paralysis in a glass sword.
Absorb health, OTOH, is dirt cheap. In a 5 point weapon you can fit Absorb Health 14 pts on strike, and it costs less than 6000 gold if you provide the soul gem! (you can easily make that much just selling spare parts to Creeper).
So for under 6K (providing my own soul gen, w/ a bonerlord in it) I got me a steel war axe, one handed, 11-38 while charge lasts, 10-18 of which goes onto my health :ebil: The down side is the cast cost, 5/100, so it's good for 20 hits until it needs recharging or waiting for about a day for it to recharge...
BTW if you want absorb health you can get it from a bloke in the Aldruhn temple. Its a steal at ~150 gold!

Better then having someone enchant the item is to do it yourself. A 5pts enchantment is not so hard to make and for 6k you can train to at least 50 enchant skill. You might fail a few times trying to enchant, but hey, soulstones are cheap.
The good thing about this is, with a higher enchant skill you will use enchanted items more efficiently!

One question about absorb health: The description says the health is restored to normal once the duration ends. But doesn't that makes the spell "Righteousness" completely useless (Absorb Health w/o any duration)?

I'm pretty sure the duration is for how long your health can exceed its norm (so if you normally have 100/100 hp max, a 10 absorb can put you at 110/110 for the duration, then back to 100/100, if you are below max hp I don't think duration means anything, I'm not completely sure though)
