Oh gosh, REALLY?? Well shoot! Here I was thinking negative things were good for me, but you sure set me on the right track! :tsktsk:
Anyway, back on topic, another one I'd add to the worst movie mix is The 40 Year Old Virgin. Normally I like Steve Carell . . . normally.

Dark Star is a GOOD movie! Get it RIGHT
Actually, I own a copy and I like it. But I can't watch it with anyone because everybody slams it after about 10 minutes into the movie.
I loved the tale from Sgt Pinback and how he got on that ship. :D

Why has nobody mentioned Syriana?
Aerothorn on 1/8/2007 at 01:50
Saying this is someone who hasn't seen it, it sounded like people found that more horrible COMPARED TO THEIR EXPECTATIONS than horrible on its own terms (i.e. Ed Wood). Which, I suppose, is the same with most of the films in this topic.

My expectations were very low to begin with and I was still disappointed.
Not that it should matter, I rented; so it's my own fault, I guess.

Something to do with it being a very good movie I guess.
Oh and can we get a Lady Taffer Barometer by finding out something she actually
likes and/or finds funny. Seems like every geek touchstone is vile rubbish by her standards.

Hercules In New York, Arnold Swarzenegger's first movie made in 1969.

Heretic.

If he means Ed Wood the movie, then he should cast into the fire with Lady Taffer and metal dawn, however if he was speaking of Ed Wood's movies then he's probably on safe ground, I've never seen any so I don't know if they came from bad right around to being good (because they're so bad) or went right on around to bad again.
