I recently saw Adam's Sandler new movie, I now pronounce you Chuck and Larry. This is possibly the WORST movie I've ever seen. Not because it is pro-gay or anything, but it just isn't funny. The writing and acting is bad and the jokes are 96% misses. This got me to thinking, "What's the worst movie you've ever seen?"

Terminator 3. Worse sequel ever. Actually "Jason" was the absolute worst sequel ever. Its basically "FRIDAY THE 13TH IN SPAAAACCCCEEEEEEEE" if you remember the Pigs in Space segment in the Muppet Show.

Recently viewed flicks - probably Ballistic and The Lady In The Water (or pretty much anything by M. Night aren't-I-ever-so-clever Scammyman).
Eragon sucked runny dragon doodoo through a straw - glad I rented it on 2 for 1 night.
Think on how many third world countries might have been permanently elevated from poverty with the money wasted on shit movies.

Oh come on, you can do worse to a cult franchise than T3. Think of ... actually I'm not even going to bother starting with examples. Sure Terminator 3 was fucking stupid (because obviously a hot robot chick from the future is going to come pre-loaded with discerning taste in sports convertibles), but at least, in the VERY LEAST, the last two minutes wrapped up the trilogy brilliantly and made up for the whole shit movie.
"Dude who's in charge up there?"
"Uh, shit, I guess I am"
Best possible ending for a Terminator sequel/prequel-inversion-whatever-the-fuck-you-call-it-in-time-travel-movies.

Pearl Harbor
Wait...
Street Fighter
Yeah, I think I'll go with SF.

That's 'cause it was made by Scientologists, Shakey. :cheeky:
Lemme think. . 300. And I didn't even SEE it! HOHO! But frankly, it's just one of those things you really don't need to see to know that it's utter shite.
But in all seriousness. . .the worst movie I ever saw was this one (
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1bJ7EmwNlyo)
It's called The Final Sacrifice and not only was it bad enough to be MST3K-ized, it was so atrocious not even Mike and the robots could save it. Their wisecracks make the flick watchable (barely) . . but that's about it.
Watch it, weep, and then plot an endless genocide upon Canada, the country that created this steaming bucket of puke. How can it be anything less with a main character named "Rowsdower?" :p

other than that, matrix reloaded.
Worst movie ever? I don't think so.
I think these kinds of threads tend to be incredibly subjective, but any genuine "worst movie" contenders have to be judged in terms of not merely (a) failing to entertain but (b) failing to achieve what they originally intended to achieve.
If we're limiting it to mainstream flicks, then I can't look any further than
Windtalkers. Utter, utter rubbish that doesn't engage on any level.
Speed 2: Cruise Control is also horrendous, and
Batman & Robin almost doesn't need to be mentioned.

seriously, not much that hollywood puts out can be called truly bad, only relatively bad
Exactly. I mean,
Pet Semetary is one of the worst movies ever made but it's also absolutely hilarious.
