I bet that any of those french women knew how to pronounce 'Delacroix' correctly.
Remember that people start talking like people around them-english ex-pats in america start saying 'vacation' instead of 'holiday' for example. Delacroix may very well have been living in america (or some other english speak area) for a long time

But then, if she had lived there long enough to even start mispronouncing her own name (although it's highly unlikely that at any point this would happen, since it doesn't seem normal that someone would start pronouncing his/her own name in a different way), she would also have lost a lot of that dreadful accent.

I haven't played completely through the game in a long time, so it's hard to remember...
though I just started playing it again (hence why I'm looking around on forums to see if anyone else still plays)
Anyways, that one security lady... think Bronson is her name, is my least favorite, to put it nicely. Her logs, to me, are pretty flat and emotionless, sometimes even lacking standard inflection. Not that I'm knocking it, the developers probably did the best they could with what they had, just you know... if I had to choose and all that..

Leave Terri Brosius' voice acting at peace!
I enjoy her neat voice every time, whether she speaks for Victoria or Shodan or Lauryl or Delacroix or whoever else.
Ok, bad pronouncement of Delacroix. I can take that. So what. They did the same mistake in Vampire Bloodlines with La Croix who was supposed to be a soldier in Napoleon's army.
End of fanboy rant.
Korenchkin recording logs in his advanced Psi Reaver evolution state, together with Reaver photograph representing him in the PDA.
HOW STUPID IS THAT?
D'Arcy on 13/9/2007 at 11:35
I actually like the 'My cup runneth over' log.
Rogue Keeper on 13/9/2007 at 12:42
T'was Diego in hybrid state. Yes, that one was pretty good. And Korenchkin's "I am the voice in their choir" in hybrid state is also good.

While I was in Japan & in Boston I always pronounced my name the english way (unless I was specifically asked to) to avoid staring eyes from everyone.
Delacroix' accent is bad but the big deal breaker was "Mon petite" rather than pronouncing her own name.

Oh God, this remind me of the time I had to cancel a hotel reservation for my stepmother (she was unable to do it, for various uninteresting reasons). Anyway, the hotel was in France, and I was emailing from her account because that's where they'd sent the details to. Anyway, I was busting out all this amazing french like "grace aux circonstances imprévus" and shit and was pretty pleased with myself. Anyway, later on when I spoke to her (she's fluent in French, btw), she said how impressed she was at my french, but that I had written "Je suis desolé" instead of "désolee" but I couldn't be expected to get that right because obviously I'm a guy (but writing as a woman). I just lost it right there, because I HAD CONSIDERED THAT, REALLY. Jeez, it's not like I didn't think about whether to put that extra 'e' on the end I don't take these decisions lightly you know, fuck you Kate, thanks for humiliating me.
Anyway to cut a long story short, Delacroix is still hands down better than Nicolette oof I lost my virginiteee out here

Glad to see you, Ajare. Come over to idle in the chat sometime.
