New toy released by Microsoft. Free, and kind of fun to play around with.
anyone interested in looking around the cosmos might want to give it a try.

Uses images from Hubble and other telescopes around the world integrated into one program.
It really is quite amazing.

I was thinking about posting this too but it seemed like it was on everyones google-homepage so I figured why bother.
This thing is totally awesome, I think I've seen people use google-sky and it seemed OK but this thing is absolutly massive. It has a ton of different data sources from Digital Sky Survey to the WMAP (cosmic microwave background) and tons more.
It also has a google/microsoft earth style view of a lot of the planets in the solar system (including the sun), and they vary from ok to good but its still interesting.
It has the hubble images (I dont know that it is all of them but I dont know that it isnt) and overlays them with other views.
The only thing it is missing is some good ambient music (I suggest conelrad).

Great concept but less than glorious execution- slow, cumbersome and has its share of bugs- all the great things that are the MS hallmarks.
