What have you lot heard about WoW? What are your opinions of it?

I have a feeling this is going to be moved into the General Gaming Forum.
Isn't that... already out or something? (Not a Warcraft fan.)
While we're off topic, why didn't anyone tell me Fable was already out? Heads will roll for this, mark my words!

The reason I didn't post it in the general gaming forum is because I want to ask a group of people that are based on a single-player role-playing game, the general forum has mixed results.
It's a test if you will, to judge the knowledge and desire for the game in this type of community.

It still has a very short while to come out here. My brother is getting all excited even though I know he will only play it for 2 days.

WoW is November I think.... you might be able to join a public beta, but I'm not sure... haven't upgraded my computer yet and I don't have broadband, so WoW is going to have to wait.
As for Fable, it's out here in the States and it rocks, though like most newer games, it's far shorter than Morrowind (good or bad, you decide).... it does have quite a bit of depth and detail.

:D I have a friend who is following wow for some time now, but if you would like to join a public beta you had to be a few month's earlier. But if the game come's out (pczone says winter 2004) I guess you could join for a week or some for free.
I also heard the blizardbuilding in orlando has been hit by a hurricane and the servers had to be replaced. And in Korea the server has been crashed a few times because of the large number of players. So I think it's going to become a game with a large community. :D

Since we're on the topic of Morrowind, I wonder if anybody could lend me a few thousands? I really could use them to upgrade my computer. ;)

Sure, I'll just email you a cheque for 10,000. Will that be enough? :cheeky:

I mostly asked the question because WoW is more seamless and non-linear than Morrowind. It also has more quests, npcs and dialogue. Which is what Morrowind is made for yes?

...but WoW has people camping in town constantly spamming "I GIVE LONGBOW FOR ENCHANTED SWORD!!1".
