The civilain toll is getting a little ridiculous, isn't it? It's easy to see how people can come to hate Israel (or at least the IDF). I don't have much stomach for this kind of thing but I just can't see any way around it.
If Hizbullah insist on firing on Israel from populated areas/buildings this is what will happen. They know that the IDF will retaliate and they position themselves so. The end result is terrible but if you put yourself in the position of trying to destroy your attacker at the cost of civilian life or just waiting to die (not an accurate description of the actual events but that's what it all boils down to) what would you do?
And I'm sure that these acts qualify as war crimes so they? Not in the technical/legal sense at least.
Whereas the vast majority of Hizbullah's attacks most certainly are.

And seeing as how Isreal is a rather small country it would only take but two small nukes to destroy it.
