The source of all that is gore on the net, ogrish, does indeed confirm that at least a few of those photos are legit.

Well it has always been land for Peace right. If Isreal would give up land there would be peace in the Middle East.Well they gave up land and now the radical Palestinians are using it to stage attacks on Isreal.
What hypocracy.
Except for some Arab countries critisizing Hezzbolah for this round of attacks when Isreal fights back they are called the agressor. What are they supposed to do?Continue to let Hezz build up in Lebanon under control by Iran and fire rockets into their country?
And it isn't about 1 or 2 kidnapped soldiers but the survival of Isreal.
Hamas has it written in their constitution to drive Isreal ino the sea.
What is a right number by the way?Ten kidnappings?Or how many rockets before you attack? 100?200?
The Lebanese allowed Hezzbollah to have free reign in Southern Lebanon.
Which really kind of negates democratic reform in the ME when a terrorist organization can move in and call the shots.
Of course the way the press usually goes is like a local Wednesday paper here.AP story Washinton Post which shows a picture of 2 destroyed Isreal cars and a large photo of a screaming Lebanese woman in the hospital.
And the message?
The Isrealis are losing property while the Lebanese are losing people.
Good objective reporting.

I'm sorry, I don't follow - where do the Palestinians come into this? Hezbollah is Lebanese. Hezbollah has nothing to do with Hamas or Palestine. You seem to have your aitches scrambled.

It's erroneous to view Hezbollah as merely a "terrorist" organisation. Hezbollah is a political party, a charity and a military organisation, which operates hospitals, schools and media outlets all over Lebanon. The Lebanese government puts up with Hezbollah's army because Hezbollah is the reason that southern Lebanon isn't occupied by Israel right now. Israel is the reason that Hezbollah still exists as a military force.
This is not a black and white situation. There are no good guys in this conflict. But Israel deserves most of the scorn because it's
supposed to be a modern, progressive democracy - not a thuggish bully.
