I do sometimes wonder if the jews should have been given a spare patch of Australia or something.

Oh come on, don't you think they've suffered enough?

("particularly disturbing" is an understatement. The photogallery is decidedly not work safe, and is as brutal as something like that ought to be. Which is to say exceptionally brutal. There's your warning, Gentle Readers... don't say one wasn't given - GBM)

Thats a pretty frank and horrific link their BR. I'm sure Israel have plenty of their own pictures of horrific death and destruction. The point? Those pictures could have come from any modern war, its all the same.

Yeah, about 1/10th as many though. This is a "proportionate response" apparently, so I guess 1 Israeli is worth 10 Lebanese?

hell, the most perverted is the fact that they let CHILDREN write "love signatures" on these rockets, which are shredding apart other CHILDREN. Is the world really more and more sick???

It's obvious who is the aggresor this time, these two soldiers were just an excuse for Israel to show it's might, it's blackmail, but in the end terror done better is the best counter for terrorism. but if Hezbollah had a lot of rocketsall this time, then they could have hurt the Israeli's a whole lot worse if they wanted to, so they have shown remarkable reluctance in using violence.

I found that pretty shocking as well. Who thinks up this shit? Someone had to authorize allowing children to handle live munitions. What do the generals do around there?
General 1: "After the air strikes we'll take the second brigade north from Haifa, under artillery cover and..."
General 2: "You know what would be the shit? If a bunch of girls signed all the artillery shells."
Gen 1: "...... That's fucked up."
Gen 2: "We need to attach teddy bears to the cruise missiles too. What the hell, let's fire an empty cruise missile into Beirut filled with nothing but valentines! Then when the stupid shits are reading them, we'll fire ten more real ones. Hahaha!"
Gen 1: "How did you get promoted?"

Yeah, those images are saddening. Where does it say those are "love messages" though?

How many rockets have they fired then? Do you know? It's usually a footnote in most news reports.

I've seen it first time with Fat Man and Hiroshima. Ithink it's a standard morale boosting tactic though.
Also I find it interesting that the news "200 civilians killed" is widely interpreted as "Israel killed 200 civilians". This disturbes me more than any girl signing some munitions.
