I agree that it hasn't been the best game, but if Russia v Croatia is a borefest, I guess that makes England v Sweden a snorefest!

Russia 2-2* Croatia (Croatia win on penalties!)
Good first half, slow second half, dramatic extra time, and... well, aren't penalties always exciting?! I was expecting Croatia to get an easy win, but Russia fought really well and didn't (or couldn't) just defend this time, whereas Croatia again failed to really impress. Cheryshev's 1-0 goal was a nice move by the Russians and a beautiful shot. Croatia got the equaliser fairly quickly, and a little by little the tempo of the game started to drop. Croatia had the better chances on the second half and Perisic was really unlucky not to score! They finally got their goal in the beginning of the extra time, and when I thought that it's game over for the Russians at last, they proved me wrong yet again by scoring a late equaliser... Great team, and in a way it's sad that they're out now. It wouldn't have been unfair if Russia had won today, but Croatia did have the better penalty shooters.

Definitely winnable. Croatia can play some great football, as they proved in the game against Argentina, but in the other matches they haven't looked that great... Well, apart from still managing to win every single game I guess! So yeah, it'll be tough, but at least the England team don't have to worry about getting a mysterious Novichok poisoning before the semi-final now.

Indeed, if wouldn't have been unfair if mother rasha had won Croatia. Just like it wouldn't have been unfair if Arabs or Iceland would have won this world cup.
