It's not "unofficially illegal" - hate speech is officially against the (
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/regs/) forum rules.
If you're going to apologise for using a term then using it in a veiled form in the same post shows you haven't understood the problem.
I expressed neither hate speech nor racism, especially in that last post you made an excuse to ban me for (your probable lack of sense of humor and pretty definite lack of common sense does
not count). But it's good to know I guess that your personal dislike of me made you abuse your powers.
Moving on from the trash... Belgium's narrow lucky win over Japan was the most undeserved and unfortunate win football has ever seen. It really killed a big part of me caring about football. Cristiano's defeat didn't evem phase me in comparison, even though that was undeserved as well. Ugh... Well, the best team are still in the game for now at least.

Dude, you're unpleasant.
You know it. You're an abrasive attention seeker and you'll get what you deserve.
No one cares what you think about football.
Go and mature somewhere else.
Thor on 3/7/2018 at 19:12
Ironic at every line. Good one? Not really a jab at me. An attempt, I guess.

Enough, thank you.
Thor, you are entirely wrong in your assumptions.
For the record, unless you're a spammer, no-one is asked to go away and think about things or banned, permanently or otherwise, without consensus from staff. As it happens, 99.9% of bans are done by agreement, the rest are for spam.
In the opinion of a number of people, including staff, you expressed both hate speech and racism. If you want to present a different opinion, you can pm me.
Otherwise, quit effing up a football thread.
The only important thing at the moment is what time I put the rayburn on for the pizzas. Maybe about 5 minutes unless the score changes.
Edit. Oh great! Some dick says 'thoroughly deserved victory' before the final whistle. Got to turn the rayburn off!

What game were you watching? The game that they showed on my TV had two equal sides fighting for victory, but the better team won in the end. :p I even wanted Japan to win more (not that I had anything against Belgium either) so I really can't see how it could have been the most undeserved win ever.

I see. It's unfair and undeserved whenever your favourites lose. Your Cristiano had a terrible game and since the Portuguese tactics depended on playing through CRonaldo, he kind of dragged his team to defeat.

Sweden 1-0 Switzerland
Couldn't watch this game earlier today, but I'm waiting for Gray's match report. :p I watched the highlights and Sweden looked very impressive! Lucky goal but deserved I think. The Swedes still kept waving their hands in protest throughout the game - is there something wrong with their hands?
Colombia 1-1* England (England win on penalties!)
I took time off work just to watch this match... I wish I hadn't bothered! This one's up there with France vs Denmark as the worst game of the tournament. Both teams kick the crap out of each other for 90 mins, England have one shot from the penalty spot somewhere in between and score, and Colombia get a dramatic equaliser from their second shot on goal. The extra time was a bit better, but not good enough to save this match.

England have won a penalty shoot out in a world cup for the first time, apparently. OK - rayburn on, pizzas on, beers in the fridge.
Whatever else happens now doesn't matter. Something has been achieved. Must dust off my waistcoat.

Brilliant result for England!! Can't believe we actuality won on penalties :D With the World Cup open like this who know's what's going to happen...

Uruguay 0-2 France
Impressive display from France. They weren't that much better, but it still felt like they were in total control of the game. Uruguay weren't bad at all, they just weren't good enough today. Shame about the 0-2 that Muslera really shouldn't have left in, and also shame a Mbappe's dive - I was starting to like him.

I'm not unhappy that Belgium won against Brazil. Can't help it but regardless of whatever, I'm a European.
Jumping forward to tomorrow, the England match is being show on BBC. (

Tuesday's match ended the so-called "curse of ITV" - which had seen England win just one World Cup match broadcast on the network over the past 20 years.
On the BBC, the team emerged victorious in nine out of 13 matches during the same time period.
How bizarre.
