I'll check that out!
Al B - thanks but I don't like the way
Google Chrome handles bookmarking!
EDIT: Ok - that worked Kolya - too bad I can't increase the text size in notepad format!
(least I don't have to side scroll the darn thing anymore!)

Out of interest, what do you dislike about the bookmarks in Chrome? I don't use lots of bookmarks but I've not had a problem with them myself.

GC does'nt allow me to just save bk marks to the desktop - it put's them either in Favorites or it's own file thingy. (one of those two, I forget which)
And I use tons of bk marks - granted most are removed b4 too long but I need to have them up on desktop til the current project is finished.
(I do net research as a small sideline income, so I usually put up a number of related site bk marks on my desktop for fast retrieval until I finish the related research)

You can save bookmarks to the desktop with Chrome, by dragging the little sign left of the address to your desktop. The same works in Firefox. These bookmarks will open with whatever browser you have set as your default browser.
Then again saving bookmarks to the desktop isn't the most efficient way to deal with them, as you end up with a lot of clutter and each opens a new browser window instead of a tab. That's why Firefox and Chrome by default handle bookmarks with built in bookmark trees, similar to file trees.
On the other hand I've learned that efficiency is very much dependent on what the user's comfortable with. So if that's your thing, then go with it.
Just every now and then when you have a bit of time to spare, take a look at what else is there.

I understand. As Koyla says you can do something similar by dragging to your desktop but if you're more efficient with the way things are done now then that makes sense.
Of course, you could use Chrome for fan missions and internet explorer for everything else...
