Here's a thought:

Figure it out. Think dance music :joke:

Darlins here's the down-n-dirty: if you are sweating and not peeing, or you are peeing dark and smelly--or worst of all you are hot but neither sweating nor peeing--you need to drink more water. Drink moderately until what you pee is light in color and doesn't bowl you over with the stink of urea. There y'go.
If you feel hungry (not thirsty) try drinking a half glass of water before you head for food. Thirst is sometimes mistaken for hunger and the water won't hurt you and may help you eat less.
Bottled water: depends on where you are and what the circumstance because some places the water is not safe or pleasant to drink in reasonable quantities. I think it's perfectly fine for a city to try reducing its waste by giving up the bottle, but making a law about it is ridiculous if the municipality has notoriously unpleasant drinking water. Better to improve water quality first, then worry about who's drinking it and what example you set.
Now, back to the water fight! (I have me supersoaker filled with Dasani--cause that's all that bottled, salted crap is good for.)

Not necessarily true. Go eat a bunch of asparagus - i don't care how much water you drink, post-asparagus pee comes out colored and smelly.

Actually, it depends on (

I don't know what the tap water is like where you live, but I can easily tell the difference between a bottle of spring water (NOT Aquafina or Dasani) and a glass from the kitchen sink. Paying three or four dollars for a set of 24 bottles doesn't bother me a bit.
Same here, and I refuse to feel guilty or wasteful about it. I recycle, shut up. My tap water is nasty.
